Hello fellow collectors! I'm Joshua Ottawa and I've collected Pokemon cards ever since I was a kid in elementary school. Saturday's were "treat days" with my family, where we'd go to the local corner store to get $1-$2 worth of candy. Once in a while instead, we'd get a pack of Pokemon cards from the local card store! I remember trading them with my brothers & friends, and little did I know, it was just the beginning!
Over the years and into my teens, I continued to collect, and while my brothers & friends got into different hobbies, I stuck with Pokemon. Every holo was special to me, and even back then I remember sleeving every card, heaven forbid I put a scratch on one by accident!
In my mid/late teens I didn't collect much, but I never got rid of my cards. I knew I'd want to keep them, but at the time I didn't know why. I just really loved having them. In 2015 I learned about 1st Edition Shadowless Pokemon cards, and it reignited the fire in me to collect. I started an instagram account to post parts of my collection, to connect with other collectors, and to document my collecting journey as I buy & sell cards to work towards my goals. Many years later, we're still going strong with just as much passion for the hobby as when I started collecting as a kid.
Now this is what I do full-time, and I couldn't be happier doing what I love every day. Together' let's catch 'em all!
